Whether you pick up a new novel or dive into an old classic, reading a good book can do wonders for your mental health! In fact, a study conducted by The Queen's Reading Room in the U.K. found that reading (fiction in particular) significantly decreased feelings of loneliness and helped people feel more connected to others. In addition, researchers discovered that spending just five minutes with a book reduced stress by almost 20% and increased concentration and focus by up to 11%.
